From Kenton Nelson’s Thirty Swimming Pools exhibition at Peter Mendenhall Gallery 2021, we have two exhibition posters available. This one shows a nocturnal still pool with round moon reflection (the original painting was 12 x 12 inches, titled #36 Night). The artist started his series of pool paintings titles at #10, as an homage to artist Ed Ruscha’s Nine Swimming Pools photographic art book from the 1960’s, continuing on documenting swimming pools and the worlds existing in the reflections.
