In Preserving Life, Kenton Nelson’s lifeguard is typical of his idealized figures, painted from his recollections, innocent in her prim two-piece swimsuit, yet charged with an undercurrent of sexuality.
Occasionally Kenton Nelson has made limited run prints to raise money for a nonprofit organization. He donates a portion of the proceeds to benefit their causes.
